Every Monday: 'Drop-in' for coffee in the Lady Chapel 9.00 am to 11.30 am. Got that 'Monday morning' feeling? Need a place to sit and be or have a chat? You will be guaranteed a warm welcome - and the chance to enjoy some excellent coffee and biscuits.
Every Friday: The church will be open every Friday (except on Bank Holidays) from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. All are welcome to drop in to enjoy some quiet time, to pray for issues that might be on your mind, to light a candle, to say thank you to God for his blessings, to stroll round and admire the medieval architecture, or to find out something about the history of Gillingham's oldest building. YOU'LL EVEN BE OFFERED A COMPLEMENTARY CUP OF TEA OR COFFEE! We are opening the church in this way in gratitude for the generous assistance we received from English Heritage and the National Churches Trust towards the works that were carried out to the Church roof and tower. Thursday 12 December: We will be holding another of or ever-popular film afternoon, commencingat 2.00pm. Admission is FREE and light refreshments will be served. Due to the terms of our copyright license we are unable to pre-advertise the actual film we will be showing, but you can be assured that it will be an all-time favourite! Do come along - all are very welcome.
Saturday 14 December: Come along to a Christmas Singalong! The U3A Acorn Singers are presenting a Singalong of carols and popular Chrsitmas songs at 7.00pm In church. Admission is £5 at the door and includes buffet refreshments. All proceeds are for church funds. Car parking wil be available at Saxon Way School. All are welcome.
Wednesday 18 December: We will be gathering at 'The Ship' pub in Court Lodge Road (ME7 2QX) from 7.00pm for Community Carol Singing. Do come along, enjoy a pint of the landlord's best and join in with the singing. The more the merrier - all are very welcome!
