Every Monday: 'Drop-in' for coffee in the Lady Chapel 9.00 am to 11.30 am. Got that 'Monday morning' feeling? Need a place to sit and be or have a chat? You will be guaranteed a warm welcome - and the chance to enjoy some excellent coffee and biscuits.
Every Friday: The church will be open every Friday (except on Bank Holidays) from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. All are welcome to drop in to enjoy some quiet time, to pray for issues that might be on your mind, to light a candle, to say thank you to God for his blessings, to stroll round and admire the medieval architecture, or to find out something about the history of Gillingham's oldest building. YOU'LL EVEN BE OFFERED A COMPLEMENTARY CUP OF TEA OR COFFEE! We are opening the church in this way in gratitude for the generous assistance we received from English Heritage and the National Churches Trust towards the works that were carried out to the Church roof and tower. (Please support both these organisations to enable them to continue giving financial support to other churches.) Further details can be found by visiting their websites: www.english-heritage.org.uk and www.nationalchurchestrust.org)
